"School administrators agreed to lift the suspension after speaking with Zachary’s parents."

I bet that was a fun conversation.

Since the kid simply expressed his thoughts without actually saying or doing anything, wouldn't this be considered "thought police"? The level of infringement here off the charts imo, and the actions of the administrations should be immediate termination. Proper action, if they were sincerely concerned, would be to pull him aside and talk to him about what part he liked whether it was just the gun or the fact the caption read "ready" since that is a little open for some interpretation.

Oh, I'm sure it was. And maybe the suggestion of a lawsuit was discussed. Stupidity apparently doesn't take any days off. LOL.

What the **** is wrong with this country anymore? How can this even lead to a suspension? Has nothing to do with the school. I want to know who the pussy was he even reported this.

I would have to work very hard not to lose it during that conversation.

I think I would try and get them to admit fault, then I would sue them. Only way these **** will learn to stop doing this crap.

The first call I would have made would have been (completely serious) to my Jewish lawyer. He's proven his likeness of money to me a few times to which I am thankful.

cases like this are really scary, you have to wonder what line won't be crossed by those with power. Every day when I go into work I remember that just because I can do something it does not mean I should. When you loose commonsense and perspective its time to do something else. Hope the family gets some money from the school district and the people in charge have a long talking to.
