Until the rear passenger piston melts? About 155 given that's the limited number by Ford.

Best answer to dumb question.

Also Aerodynamically unstable at 165-170, but don't worry, pistons melt first.

I hit 540 on a2.80 upper only. Ported blower, dragon tb, headers, cold air and 97 Cobra cams on 91 octane. Most people won't believe me but i do have the dyno sheets from RET.

a buddy of mine pushed his to 165 without the pistons melting a bunch of times, aerodynamic instability, that I understand but I don't think pistons melt beyond 155.

Yeah... good luck wrapping a heaton pullied car into 5th and 6th gear.

My answer to when people say "my buddy". Someone has ****ed the Queen of England too, doesn't mean everyone gets to.

I don't remember, same tune that i used for open tracking in 100+ degree weather. I would say between 17 and 19 degrees.

When i had the eaton yes there were some cooling issues which i was able to fix mostly with my hood design. My car has never ran so hot as it does with the whipple. Kb and whipple have done a good pr move to make people think that the twin screws run cooler. In 107 degree weather the eaton ait2's were as high as 160 degree. In temps at 100 degrees the whipple at 15psi ait2's were above 170 degrees and that was with my hood design. I have been as high as 166mph with the eaton.

What would a 2.6L kenne belle witha 3IN pully at 22 PSI get?
Should easily be over 600 with that blower at 22 PSI. Only problem there is the 91 octane gas at over 20lbs.

Dont let the 91 octane scare you to much, I bought my car with a 93 tune and got it redone right away because I would have to drive an hour for 93 Octane and I only lost 17 rwhp. Car runs great, but I am only pushing around 17lbs.

That's good to hear in the cobra world. I agree. Mine hit 161* in the 1/4 with a KC drag kit and meth. Twin screws sure make power, but they make a ton of heat too.
