Official 2016 NFL Season Thread

Ok, back to the Cowboys. Looking at their record, they have played 1 team that as of today has a winning record, 3 are at .500 and they rest are bottom dwellers. I want to see them play a good team and see what happens.

This is the lame ass argument I continue to see. Teams are underachieving this year that are usually contenders every year. Packers, Steelers, Ravens all would be above .500 if the Cowboys hadn't beaten them. The Cowboys are legit and people continue to downplay them. Everybody was all "wait till they play the bengals, packers, steelers,ravens".They beat them all. That's ok though, I hope people continue to downplay them. I will say one thing though, I think the Dallas defense is overachieving right now especially with the players that are injured. If the defense continues to play the way they are right now, then maybe I can say that this is who they actually are as a defense.

I think they're legit, that being said, they'll **** it up in playoffs I'm sure, Prescott ain't gonna sustain his high level of play into the playoffs, a rookie is rookie

So what if he's a rookie. The guy hasn't flinched yet. He's looking like a veteran with the way he's playing. I don't think he's scared of big moments nor do I think he'll all of a sudden turn into a "rookie" come playoffs.

Raiders have take the #1 seed from the Pats, playoffs are sure going to be interesting. Already got people telling me the revenge game from 01 is coming. I tell them, just bring it.

Are you saying the Raiders have one of the best OLines? They were getting murdered by the Texans DLine. A Texans DLine without JJ Watt. If he had been in there it would've been even worse.

Thing is Dak doesn't have to do everything and make all the plays. He's got plenty of options when it comes to distributing the ball and letting his teammates make plays. The Ravens with the top defense in the league forced Dak to beat them with his arm and he did just that.

Defense is definitely the Cowboys weakness could be the potential downfall of the team. But they're doing enough right now to help Dallas win. I think TOP by the offense is what has helped the defense to be able to do that.

The only problem I have with the Cowboys winning is, Jerry Jones will them think he's a genius when in actuality the thanks should go to the Seahawks. We dropped Romo in the preseason and haven't been thanked once.
