Did you receive yet?

Yes, we are waiting news!

It's correct. Stoich is 14.07

Actually, can't say that. Stoich depends on the fuel. Stoich for 100% gas is 14.7. I think you are correct for 10% ethanol (don't have the chart and too lazy to google it) and would be even lower for e85.

Edit: I looked it up. Got me curious. E10 stoich is 14.07 (14.08 on chart I found but close enough) and e85 is about 8.9 or 9.0 or so.

the cars are programed for E10 Stoich since that is the most common fuel ran now. So if you swap to E85 the virtual gauge will not read correctly even though the tune is updated to stoich for E85.

What's the verdict, did the ecoboost boost gauge work as a plug and play deal? Really curious because I want the gauge and color to match my current layout. Please update us, anyone who has tried it so far!

Another option would be to use the GT350 gauges :D

There's no boost on a gt350 though :/

And where did Anthony K go? it's been 20 days already the suspense is killing me...

Wait, doesn't the FRPP Roush kit come with a Roush boost gauge? Unless maybe that's just the ones they build that come with that, but I swear I thought I saw that somewhere. And I'm about to order a gauge cluster and just find out - but would hate to get that just to find out someone already tried it and found it doesn't work.

It most definitely does not come with a boost gauge. I saw the whole kit before the install and it's not mentioned as being included on any website. It's possible the RS3's come with a boost gauge though I have no idea.

If you do break down and buy it don't fall off the earth like OP :)

Right now I'm looking up the part FR3Z-10849-C that's mentioned, and it is definitely A GAUGE CLUSTER but it doesn't specify anywhere I can see as to what gauges are in the cluster. Doing some homework. Theres an A, B, C and some other variations and I would hate to order an electrical part I can't return just to find its not the boost cluster. Diligence. I know OP is here he's posting other stuff, but maybe he hasn't had a change to mess with the gauge cluster yet.

I sent an email to Ford to ask, but I'm not necessarily holding my breath. Someone, somewhere, has the answer to simplify this. My money is riding on "it won't work" but lack of patience might get the better of me to find out.

Then your dealer is shitty.

The gauge pack can be ordered separately from the dash assembly.

I know

Because I ordered it.

Hey man - did you ever try the ecoboost instrument cluster swap? I'm still not seeing a swappable gauge replacement for the GT PP folks like myself, and would love to see if your experiment worked since you already ordered one. Can you let us all know whats up on this one?

Thanks!

I called Roush and they come with a Roush boost gauge but only on their complete cars not as an add-on. They also do not have a swappable setup yet, as of 20 minutes ago, although he said he's sure they eventually will.

Waiting on Anthony K to hopefully share some good news from his trial.

How do they have a boost gauge but not a swappable setup? Logically it doesn't compute since they would have to remove the Ford gauges to swap theirs in. It's not like Ford would ship Roush an uncompleted car just because they asked.

Anyway, thanks for the sleuth work. Hopefully this will be solved soon.

Yeah, it's more like a, "yeah, we've got them, but we're keeping them on stage 3 complete cars for exclusivity" kind of answer, but he said they just don't have them. I called my local ford dealer about the part number I linked above and he about blew a gasket talking about federal laws and how he can't sell them to me or order them. I told him he was talking about a speedometer cluster and that oil pressure and boost gauges don't have anything to do with the speedometer and odometer, but decided to try the conversation with another dealer tomorrow. I'm just hoping someone who already has one can give us a thumbs up or thumbs down

Anthony K where did you order yours without a core charge so I can buy mine? You are the man. Best news I've had all day today
