Congrats on the time...
The MPH is definitely out of the norm for a stock car. 90% of stock cars are in the 110-112 MPH range... and to gain 3mph without any mods... that's kind of weird.
Any weight reduction ?

Manipulation at it's best. ^^ I never said anything like that. I was just wondering how most people deal with a whole bunch of factory related MT-82 and chassis issues that need to be sorted out before just letting the clutch fly at 6k.

Congrats. Anything is possible. Lot of people are jealous because of $$ spent on aftermarket parts did not always equate to the times and traps they expected.

wow that is amazing! congrats

you say on "tire and suspension" I got the tire part... and I got the shocks part.... but absolutely zero mods besides that?

I agree that's gotta be a record, and great driving!
Yessir I put shocks and my bigs and littles on it and go racing

Timeslip doesn't validate that the cars stock bud. He can show us a 8.90 @ 155 timeslip and say it's stock. Should we believe it because the slip proves it?

I couldn't even go high 12's without the car wheel hopping, clutch sticking to the floor and getting locked out of 3rd. How come this car doesn't have those issues?
I've got a shop and have driven many mt82s and the internet makes those issues bigger than they are and a bias tire takes the hop issue down, though I can feel the rear all over the place on launch. I've had 2 5.0l car,2011 2012 neither had clutch issues or tranny issues

Congrats on the time...

none other than the wheel tire combo and I don't run a front swaybar for transfer.

I'm in the believer camp. I have a loaded premium Brembo car on the supposedly weak FRPP tune in the 11s at 115 on a tire, a upper ca and cheap poly LCAs. The suspension stuff was to tame the wheelhop on the road on the Factory PZeros but, I don't do much on a slick tire at the track, since the car just dead hooks.

New management? SA Raceway was a good track when I used to race there. And this was after I had been racing at HRP. Not as good as HRP, but not a BAD track by any means.

I have noticed that from november of last year when they began ch 13 proceedings until they ran pro mods (2 weeks ago) that their track prep was garbage. I spun bad with my bama tune but with my new tune I start fishtailing. it happens whether I leave at idle, at 1k rpm or 1500.

Wow justin81 so angry, fyi I have 36,000 on my 2011 with both autocross and many 1/4 passes and my clutch does not stick and I've never been locked out of a gear.. and I have the stock ford fluid and shifter, don't be mad at the op for his driver mod.. I'd work on your skill set first, stop ham fisting the shifter. second remove the pic of your car with the trans shop sign unless you want to drive business away, and three tell the op good run.

LOL , congrats OP. I just had to call B.S because I knew there were people on here whose heads were ready to explode , but were too scared to be the 1st to say it.

didnt the o.p state he removed the sway bar? I may have misread it, but I thought he said that he removed it.

He removed the front sway bar. With the 15x10 wheel you have to cut part of the sway bar mounting tabs to get them to fit. So there is a rear sway bar relocation kit to cut the bracket on the housing and still keep the rear sway bar.

Nice try bud. I'm not angry about anything at all. I'm a pretty happy dude. Just a little shocked that's all. Truth is, I'll be the first guy over on Yellowbullet talking shit to the Vette lovers saying " These cars go 11's STOCK!!" lol.

The car left incredible in the video. I would love to know how fast my car would be with that launch. What tire pressure in the tires and what size/brand? I'm about to go buy a set.
