It was a good time. It's always nice to chill and talk to with you svtp guys, I took some pics but not a lot. I've come down to actually enjoying more the whole interacting with everybody then walking around rushing trying to get good shots lol.

The show was great! The Cobras represented and then some grass or no grass. The Shelbys were excellent, they shoulda been with us but thats ok. AND! I wasnt the only running horse look 2 cars down...ha ha

Haha Adam, you're right, another running horse/snake swap procrastinator :-D

It didn't matter that we were on the pavement, at least we were all together. While I was definitely the minority among the 03/04s (I think i only saw one 99 Cobra and two other 01s) I was great walking from Cobra to Cobra to see all the mods and everyone's own sense of style :coolman:

This was my first year going and even tough it was not what i expected to be we had a good time, lots of beautiful cars. I took lots of pics but i just love this one i took where we stop by on the way back to San Diego with my kiddos :D

Your kids were so funny, they just couldn't help touching your car as you were going around it detailing it when you first got there. Next time you need to give them a microfiber to hold this way at least they'll be helping you out at the same time :D

I was the minority there. I think I had the only early build 03 there (02 Model Year Production Run). All the other cars I saw were late build 03 Model Year Production cars.

It was good meeting some of you guys. It was my first time going so nothing to compare to but I think it was a little better than the 50th birthday. Really liked all the Broncos. Anyone think the show was lite on Coyotes?

This one is mine:rolling:

Some of my pics from the day. It was a decent show (probably not worth the $45) but the best part was meeting some of you guys in person finally. There were a lot of free posters too so that was at least nice :)

I thought the show turned out good. This only being my second year going. My first year I didn't know anybody but this year was fun seeing all the cobras together & meeting new people. Instagram helps a lot lmao. But also talking to you guys on here. I can't wait until next year. Thanks to everyone who took a picture of my car.

Yeah it was nice to meet a lot of you guys in person. Finally got to meet with the African American National Cobra Owners Association, lmao. That comp orange 93 cobra was the worst car there though. :D JK love that thing!

Haha! it was nice meeting you too man! Welcome to the AANCOA! LMAO!

The show was pretty weak this year compared to others, but it was cool seeing a lot of SVTP Members cars in person.

It was a bit weak, I was expecting a bigger variety but not bad. SVTP should make their own car meets instead, im sure we can gather a big Mustang crowd seeing as a nice amount of people here showed up.

Not sure who was at the GTR meet before going to Knotts. Some vids that were posted.

The show organization was a mess, compared to the last 5 years. I was disappointed to see NO cars on the grass area. The 50th anniversary theme seemed to be "scramble up all the cars". I think the Bronco area was the only one not jacked with, but most likely due to the fact they are the only group who doesn't seem to mind parking in the dirt!

Always a fun event. It did seem like less of the park/lot was open than past ones I've attended. Far from exhaustive coverage, these are some of the shots I got that would interest SVTP'ers the most.

the highlight of the show for me was when that guy told me about the different color keyholes for 03 and 04. i did not know that! also that silver 04 cobra on chicanes with the toy car on the blower. that guys cobra was the cleanest by far at the show. drooooooooooooool

The 3 things that help me tell the difference:
- 04's have painted keyhole, 03's don't
- 03's have a cargo net thing above the mirror / light inside cab, 04's don't
- 04's have an aux button on front

to this, i will only say: if you feel like contributing, become a member of one of the clubs that comprise the ford car club council, attend our meetings, and volunteer to help out at the show. we'd love to have you.

sorry you felt that way. we did everything we could to make the show just as well as last year's, even not better. a lot of people agree, but we will most definitely listen to those who don't.

we can't improve if we don't know what's broken.

we did too. lots of buzz, the new 2015 cars, our special guests; it was a lot of fun. the sponsors we had on hand were more than happy with how the show went and a couple have already committed to next year's show!

alright. i know a few people are upset about not getting to park at independence hall [i will NEVER call that area "the snake pit" - it's ALWAYS going to be "area 51" for me :p].

the reason we did this was simple: to park ALL of the mustangs together as part of the 50th anniversary of these cars. it makes sense and we typically park certain makes together anyway. we also planned on this being a ONE-TIME event, meaning the svt mustangs would return to their normal place next year.

i hope that all of the mustang owners are happy that they were given more than enough space to park their cars and not have to worry about being packed in, as they were last year. this was something we had on our minds all year, as a result of the complaints from last year. we had someone out there to measure each space in that parking lot so that we could accurately gauge how to space the cars out.

so, hope everyone enjoyed being a part of the show. :)

That's great to hear, would love to be part of next year's show if it show's promise.

BTW, was your car in the show? True Blue Cobra, right?

I'd like to thank all those that all involved putting the show together. Once the show got underway I actually preferred the new location. We tend to be hidden away in Area 51. Definitely a lot more foot traffic in the main parking lot. Plus I actually got to see a lot more cars than in the past.

yes it was! since i was there just before 5:00am, i had parked at the end of the class spots. :)
The only Cobra parked alone good choice since it stood out. Pretty hilarious when we saw it, my brother and friends were laughing because you have the same exact stereo that I do. What were the odds of another 01 True Blue Cobra having the same exact aftermarket stereo at Knotts.

that's awesome. even have the color set to blue in the car. hopefully by next year's show, i'll have my 00 R's back on the car and the 00 R brembo's installed.
