I believe mine is slipping as well. Running supplied belt and idler with 82

At the track I think I was getting some slip at higher RPM with the 82 and stock belt. The MAF was dipping at high RPM and I'm pretty sure that was the cause. I couldnt get it to it on the street though and the next day after the track the pulley let loose and there was silicone grease everywhere and it was definitely slipping then.

I see. Thanks for heads up. What caused pulley to let loose?

Most likely the bearing was damaged when it was pressed in the pulley, or at least the seal part, it was the exact same bearing that the stock Roush pulleys use so who knows. Once all the grease leaked out (I didnt notice it at all) it seized up a minute or so after a cold start, luckily in my garage. Not a big deal but that grease was a pain to get off the pulley grooves..

Here are pix of my Aeroforce monitoring AFR on both banks as well as my Roush LED boost gauge. I wanted to go for the sleeper look and have a Roush vent pod with a single Aeroforce gauge to monitor boost and AFRs but it was right in the way of the steering wheel and visibility was poor. I also didn't like how the Aeroforce worked with boost so I changed the setup to this.

I am also trying to locate me an 82mm pulley if anyone has one they want to sell or trade for a 75mm one. Justin continues to believe I will be fine with the 75mm pulley and a conservative tune but I am going to go ahead and swap to the 82 for the time being.

I think its wise...as you probably saw he never answered as to what happened to the other dead VMP coyote recently...

I would think the 79mm would also be safe but again you're making so much boost with the 75 that maybe the 82 will give you better piece of mind.

I have the 82mm with LT and am only seeing 8-9 psi so in my case it would probably be ok to get the 79...

I have a 85mm to sell if you really want it safe ;)

Looks good!

I have the Roush pod in the vent but am looking for a sos dual pod with blue interceptors like you.

How do you like the Aeroforce during the day ?
Is it hard to read with the blue background ?

I dont know why I am seeing so much boost! I am seeing 15# according to the Aeroforce when I had it and the Roush! I always thought that when you freed up the flow in and out, you decreased the amount of boost. I loaded a conservative 91 tune for the 75mm yesterday and it feels a lot different; slower!

I think for now, the larger pulley is best, but I will have to pass on the 85mm!

To Justin's defense, I know he doesn't get on here too often but he should probably clear the air on his name and his product and try to figure out what happened so he doesn't get bad press about this!

The Aeroforce is great during the day. I see it just fine. The Roush is super bright and is almost too bright at night!

I'll pm you my latest datalogs from 3 weeks ago for comparison if you want.
These were done with a setup very similar to you but on a 82mm pulley.
Maybe you'll see something in there that will catch your eye.
You're right about the bad press, he was given a break so far but now that a coyote has blown on his tune he should at least clear the air especially since it was with the full blown kit that was supposed to be safe. Thruth is always the best imo.

You have a part number and/or link to where you bought the Roush Gauge for boost? I have a dual SOS now with 2 interceptor gauges, and when I get my Roush, I may get a triple SOS pillar and add that boost gauge as opposed to getting a MAP sensor and adding boost to one of the current ones.

OP,

How is yours behaving at night ?
Mine is sometime a very bright blue and sometime it stays with the clear lighting.
The dealer took it off to check the wiring but it still does it so i'm wondering if i have a bad apple.

I bought the Roush gauge from American muscle for around $85 I believe.

Are you asking about the aeroforce? I haven't noticed any problems with mine. However, I haven't done much driving at night in it. I also bought mine used off here.
