the car hit the DYNO today and on the 1st pull after 30 mins of (drivability tuning) and supper fat AFR (9.6-1) it put down 445whp. My tuner Kris at ALL OUT stopped there for the night to let it cool off and get a full day on it tomorrow.

this was on 93 pump gas, after the pump gas tune is done were dumping in VP109 race gas and letting it eat. what are your guys guesses? closest person to guess gets a virtual 6 pack of there beer of choice!

LOL, do you know something I don't? haha. I would be happy with 538 on race gas.
You should be awfully close. I have experienced many similar setups as yours @ or near 14psi.

Just going from 9.6:1 to 11.6:1 AFR should net about 35-40rwhp. Another 40-50rwhp going from 13/14* to 20* of timing. Math says 526-541rwhp if your compresison ratio is 9.6:1 or better.

I'm gonna guess 484 on pump gas once he leans it out and around 525 on race gas. Either way sounds like the cars gonna be solid and a blast to drive!!!

Well just my luck...I get here and the car is having spark blowout problems. I pull a plug and check the gap its over. 030+ (cheap pepboys feeler gauges are cheap!) So we start to re gap the plugs to .027 and on the last plug on the driver side the the threads in the heads strip. So now we have the fix that before we get back on it.

Good news is that before the spark plug issue he made some more pulls and still on pump it put down 456@5500 RPM and was still climbing till the spark blowout issue showes up and that was on only 14* of timing. After its fixed and back on the rollers it should be close to 500 on pump!

Just left the shop. The tool to fix it will be there tonight hopefully we can continue the tune in the morning. He's going to use a thing called a "Time-sert" He said its stronger and more permanent then a helicoil.
