The OP took the car to another tuner whom upon starting the car to pull it onto the dyno saw a huge puff of smoke come out the back. The tuner then pulled the plug and it was covered in oil. So OP wanna tell us tuned the car before you brought to this other tuner?

no, all tune modifiers go about it there own way. some are trusted ,some are questionable. thats why we want to know who tuned the car before it smoked.

Agreed. Where is the OP. Kinda strange he posts a topic like this and doesn't respond. We have questions and he has the answers. Also maybe he has a video or some pics too. I mean a lot of people video there dyno tune in excitement. We shall see.

What I want to know is where is the OP at? This guy makes a thread in obvious distress from blowing his motor and asking for input. But has yet to make one post. Kinda odd if you ask me. You can only cry in a pillow for so long after blowing a motor.

The OP took the car to another tuner whom upon starting the car to pull it onto the dyno saw a huge puff of smoke come out the back. The tuner then pulled the plug and it was covered in oil. So OP wanna tell us tuned the car before you brought to this other tuner?

I'm sorry for not being around today, there are some people that work 12hr shift is the middle of the night. And I went straight to get my car tuned after getting out of work earlier this mourning.. which never got dyno tuned because of what was found checking the plugs before strapping it on to the rollers.

Apologies or not being clear enough, exhaustion and shock tool one hell of a toll on me, I'm surprised I made it from boyton to my house in one piece after this whole incident..

Basically I felt the car was acting strange for the past couple of weeks, tq didnt seem to be all there and I thought it may have all been in my head, maybe it wasn't.. At the time I already had this accufab throttle boddy on order, so instead of waiting for the tune apt with (power by the hour) first visit to that shop, so I went ahead and installed it once it arrived.
Once the TB was installed that's what seemed to have made things worst, once the part was on.. From that point, that's when I noticed the car idling lower, and when I'd get on the car giving it a lot of throttle, I'd leave that trail of white smoke.. After each mod I had I've been retuned for it EXCEPT for this tb, that has been on this car for the past week and a half..

BBR has been very helpful with everything I've been though owning this car, always answering questions during other mini freakout and constant uncertainties i have when it fomes to the mechanics of these things, and I'm by no means saying that its because of they'r tune that this issue happened, didn't mean for it to sound like that.. But In heindsight going with the simple bama an insurance that comes with it Is obviously not a bad move..
I did run my car hard and enjoy my street encounters when they come along (now obviously babying it for the past week). So it saw its share of abuse, but I didn't think 6.5 months and 11k miles later would land this motor in hospice..

Thanks for insight and help guys, hope I cleared my story up a little better

And keep the rebuild ideas coming.. I don't want to give up on this thing cause I still love it to death, I'd I'd love to see her come back stronger than ever, I just don't want to go in major debt getting there /:

FWIW, I have a ZFK0 computer code and had a bbr n/a tune on my car at around 2k miles. I then had then tune my edelbrock blower set up at 5k miles and I'm at 22k now with zero hiccups. Sometimes things just blow the **** up :/

I think Beefcake still has a long block for sale. I'm sure it can handle all the abuse you can throw at it.

Sorry to hear about the motor problem OP. I guess i have a few questions though. I know you made mention of you being at a different tuner/dyno to get the car retuned for the T body, did this any other place tune the car for the other mods, or was it always on a BBR tune up till the T body dyno? Also, you put a hell of ton of miles on the car, do you always use 91-93 octane or do you change up to mid/low grade for commute? Do you fill up with a certain brand or do you bounce around to what is priced well. Just asking these questions because a single bad tank of gas could be the culprit by itself. Also i know you said you aren't very good mechanically but is it possible any parts installed may of contributed to any air leaks causing a lean condition. As i browse through threads it makes me realize a lot of people's problems are caused by possibly their improper install as well. Not saying you did anything wrong, but how many threads people's forget Injector O rings, snap bolts, leave things disconnected, create air leaks with manifold installs, ect.
