Got a new GT500 axle back off Craigslist so I figued I would take a few pics while I was out cruising around.

It actually is. With the stock mufflers, it is very quiet. These give a little more growl but not too loud. Sounds the way hey Should have come from the factory IMO.

there are always a few little nit picky things I think ford should have done extra from the factory for most mustangs, but I guess that just makes it more fun to modify.

the main difference is that the GT500s are two chamber, while the stock GT muffler is three chamber.

wait until you get a few thousand miles on them. they wake up nicely. love mine.

The car looks great Kevin. I loved the sound of my GT500's, but after a few months had to remove the resonators for more. :)

You are right the GT500's are awesome, I really like the sound of it with a FRRP after cat X and resonators removed. Good growl but not attract every cop in the neighborhood loud.

The car does look awesome, I really want that CS rear Splitter, looks so much better than the stock GT.
