For sure and he should be. Colt didn't have his head on straight worth a shit. Weeden should have the composure to help the Browns finally get somewhere. Now all he needs are a pair of good receivers and an O-line and he's golden. Weeden won't disappoint Cleveland.

Tannehill by Miami wasn't their best bet. Tannehill, at best, was worth a mid to late 3rd rounder.

Blackmon and Blaine Gabbert should be interesting combo though. Jags haven't had the best seasons in quite a few years.

I would have LOVED to see Weeden in Miami. wow.

I don't. We're not bad enough to try this BPA shit and Peterman is a freaking joke.

And then in the third we pick up a CB who is small, and posted the worst shuttle and vertical at the position at the combine...?

Seriously Mayhew.... You were doing so well.... What happened?

IMO big winners on Day 1, big losers on Day 2.

Broyles, we'll see, but Bentley?

C'MON MAN!!!!

Well Jacksonville knows Blaine Gabbert will be there QB next year, so they did what would be best for the team... They drafted a punter in the third round!

Well the Texans didn't make a big splash but filled some positions of need.

DE Whitney Mercilus- I'm not a huge fan of this pick especially with Hill still on the board at the time. I saw him play a few times last year and he did very well, but he was still a one hit wonder in college. He'll help give depth at OLB though with Mario gone and I think he'll be a solid pass rusher. If anyone can get the most out of him I think Wade Phillips can.

WR DeVier Posey- As much as I hate him (I wonder why?!) I think he'll develop into a decent WR. He has a long stride and will be a good deep threat with his ability to adjust to the ball, which is a bonus with Schaub throwing to him. He has good natural ability but is very raw on the technical aspects of the game, but with Andre mentoring him I can see him being pretty decent. I wish we had picked up a better WR with our first pick though.

OG Brandon Brooks- I love this pick. He's a huge OL who is strong and also versatile. He started at 3 different OL positions in college. I see him being a very solid OG for many years for us and helps give depth with the loss of Briesel.

So far so good. Nothing fancy and it could've been a little better but I'll take it.

I'm liking all the picks the Eagles got.

1st DT Fletcher Cox
2nd LB Mychal Kendricks
2nd DE Vinny Curry
3rd QB Nick Foles

The defensive players were really needed and they are great ones. All speedy guys that attack the ball. Curry will be a back up to Babin and Cole. Foles will be the 3rd QB on the roster but im sure Marty Morningweh (sp?) will fix him up. He'll prob wont start this year.

In the 5280'
first two rounds for Denver seem pretty solid.

got a solid DT in Derek Wolfe, but he's a little on the light side at 295#, but hopefully that will give him a bit of a speed advantage.

I really like the Brock Osweiler pick in the 2nd round, big fella at 6'7", good strong arm, accuracy, Cam Newton style ability to run and scramble, reminds me of Ben Roethlisberger, but a little bit more agile and quicker.

I'm not very happy with the Ronnie Hillman RB pick. We don't need a ****ing 3rd down back. we needed a big, fast bruising RB to punish defenses. Hillman's 5'9 and 200#, a little short for a RB. We already have NO-Show Moreno as a 3rd down back. we need a Larry Johnson style runner, a Chris Johnson, or main go to guy.

risky move taking Omar Bolden, who was out with a torn ACL last year, not sure I like that move.

the rest are crap shoots, most likely won't develop, but if they do it's a bonus.

Phins reached hard.
Cheifs blew it.
Seahawks
Titans reached

nothing new here. Chiefs couldn't draft a letter if they had to.

The Phins haven't a clue what they're doing. Tannenhill? in the 1st round, lol. morons. Ross needs to sell that team. Tannehill hasn't done anything to be worthy of being a 1st round pick and Ross is already saying he'd like to retire Tannehill's #17 jersey someday. :dw:

Stephen Ross introduces new QB Ryan Tannehill to Miami - NFL.com

Lets hear what you think of the NFL draft, who reached for a player, who got a steal, and why?

I hate the Cowboys, but they really got a good deal moving up to number 6 in the first round to get Morris Claibourne. With the other additions in the offseason they are turning there defensive backfield into a very improved group.

On the other hand I don't understand taking DT in the first 15 picks, this year the Chiefs take Dontari Poe. He had sick numbers at the combine but didn't really show up on the field. Only 3 years ago they drafted Glenn Dorsey at number 5 in the first round, in 3 years he has had only 3 sacks. All while making 10 million a year! Im not that great at math but thats 10 million a sack.

lol at Dallas moving to to take Claiborne. Any other team, the kid would have been a great NFL corner, but now that Dallas got their hands on him, well, say hello to the newest version of Terrance Newman. blown coverages 10 times a game, playing out of position, getting faked, and a shit load of pass interference calls coming your way Big D!!!! :kaboom:

poor kid's career is already ruined and over.

the Chiefs have a knack for drafting big, fat lazy defensive players who are highly overrated, unproven and overpaid, that never pan out or contribute like they're expected to. that team is run by buffoons on the same level as the Dolphins.

didnt see dallASS moving up to 6.. **** the cowboys. i hate them. and their stupid trade to get claiborne.

it won't pan out for them. any decent corner that they get their hands on they ruin rather quickly. they haven't had a decent corner that could cover a table, much less an elite WR since Deion Sanders.

Wow, that's a serious albatross to hang around somebody's neck.

yeah well the kid was arrogant enough to say he deserved the Heisman before the season was even over.

I don't see him panning out, but could be wrong. I think he'll be mediocre much like Vince Young.

I'm willing to bet the Bucs would have moved up, they did to Doug Martin. I love the Weeden pick can't wait to see how it pans out.

he's better than McCoy that's for sure, but I really feel sorry Trent RIchardson, I wouldn't want to play in that shithole city for that team, I'd have demanded a trade if I were him. Talk about a career ruiner right off the bat.

You guys had a very risky draft but it could also pay off big time. It will be interesting to see how this draft looks 3 years from now.

Definitely. We also picked up Ben Jones, one of top centers in a weak draft for centers (wish we had taken Molk!). He's big and a decent run blocker but needs work. Fortunately for him he has one of the best (if not the best) centers in the NFL to learn from. Keshawn Martin is an interesting pick up at WR. He'd be best as a slot ninja due to his size and speed. Jared Crick is also an interesting pick. He was injured this year but he performed well when he was healthy. He's a high motor guy that will fit in with what Phillips likes to do and he'll have plenty of guys to learn from, but again, raw. I can see 2-3 solid starters out of this draft. We sure went after the Big10 this year.

As for the Bears, I think they had a solid draft. I like the McClellin pick. He'll give you a nice pass rush right away. Jeffery goes without saying, great pick. Hardin is a gamble and I haven't seen what he did at the combine or his pro day. I want to see what Rodriguez does. He should be a nice target and big playmaker for Cutler.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I wish we had picked up McNutt in the Martin spot. I'm actually pretty surprised he fell as far as he did.

You know Jared Crick could be one of the biggest steals of this draft if his pec is completely healthy and doesn't give him anymore problems. He had a 1st RD grade by many before the injury. So you guys did really good with that pick. You're overall draft looks very intriguing. Texans have a great core and look ready to challenge the Patriots for supremacy.

The Bears, like the Texans, went with a very risky draft. I like the versatility and speed they added, but I'm going to wait awhile to see how this draft shakes up. It was an unusual draft compared to the ones under our former GM, so its going to take some getting used to thinking the "Patriot way." I'm stoked with Alshon Jeffrey. If we couldn't have Michael Floyd, he was the next best thing. And I'm real interested to see how this Rodriguez guy fits into everything.

Texans-Bears is going to be one heck of a matchup later this year.

Happy with most all of the picks for Cincy. They have one of the youngest teams and plenty of cap room if they need to make adjustments.

Just imagine if Crick plays to his potential with Watt on the other side. With the LB group we have opposing QB's would be shitting their pants (even more) lol. If we stay healthy the Patriots better watch out. I think you'll be happy with your draft. They filled some positions of need with some solid players.

It will be one heck of a matchup and I'll be there to see it.
