can always get the XXR 521 in hyper silver. main difference is the 521's have rivets around the outside. personally i think they look sick. I went with some xxr 521's in all black and now im wishing i had gotten the hypersilver.

Why not just save up and buy the real thing? They'll hold value better, and serve a purpose. CCW is one of the cheapest "nice" aftermarket wheels available.

These wheels are more aimed at the guys buying saleen reps or FR500's reps. Which in reality there are very few guys running around with real saleen's or FR500's. So these are no different. Not everybody can or wants to spend a few G's on wheels.

I couldn't daily CCWs because of cleaning, fear of curbs or justify the expense. The gun metal finish looks good but I'd like to see them on a car before considering them.

I like the ones in the OP. XXR 521s look dumb. I hate fake multipiece wheels with "bolts" just for looks, it's about as dumb as people that put add on hood scoops from Pep Boys on their pickup trucks.

2500-3000 isn't bad for wheels considering if you take care of them you can get almost all of your money back. As said CCW is one of the most affordable "nice" aftermarket wheels. I understand where you're coming from with comparison to FR500s and Saleens etc. I used to have ZR1 replicas on my 1999 SS. I guess it's a matter of "no going back." After I picked up a quality wheel, I cant justify going back.

They look better than ccw to me. I hate the ccw classics. If you were going for that look why get ccw over chicanes?? The chicanes have way more detail.

Having good friends that work at CCW and knowing the owner fairly well as well as having a couple sets of classics now, i think the knockoffs are an alternative and it won't hurt CCW's business at all because buyers for these XXR wheels aren't ever going to be buyers for the real thing so know money is lost from a potential buyer, it goes back to the whole "replica rolex" theory- guys that can afford a $15k watch are going to buy one and guys that won't ever be able to afford one were never a potential buyer. I think there's something to be said for how cheap ccw's are for a TOP NOTCH forged wheel that is better quality than an hre for 1/4 the money, that being said you don't always get what you pay for just google "cracked hre", at $10k a set you're getting a wheel thats as structurally sound as this XXR knockoff.

Just picked up my new classics the other day:
