Well, I had to bail not too far in. Stupid car kept stalling when I would take it out of gear. Not something you want when you're slamming the brakes and making sharp turns. Plus my rear end is making some hideously bad noises. Urgh. Had fun while it lasted! Can't wait to see some pics/vids!

I outguessed myself. After we stopped at Loys Bridge (the covered one) and I let everyone past me, I was gonna pick up the tail in case anyone got lost. Then when you guys went past Orndorff Rd, I turned in thinking you'd turn around. Tim hooked up with me, but after a few minutes we decided to go wait at Roddy Creek Bridge. Waited a while, then considered ourselfs MIA. Sorry I missed the rest, but it was great seeing everyone at State Farm. Great turn out, Moose!

Here's a few pics I took.

Had to leave very soon after getting to State Farm. My son's karting finals was at 11:00 (made it to Sterling in less than an hour). Got HD GoPro video from Safeway to State Farm. Looks decent. Will post when I get home (now I'm at my daughter's cheerleading competition in Alexandria). Long day.

anyone have any recommendations on a 19" tire for all around use and better traction?? i have the pilot sport ps2 and they arent holding worth ****. I dont drag the car, its a weekend driver but i want better traction and dont want to sacrifice to much cornering.

Ive had my eye on the m/t dr but i dont know how loose the sidewall is. anyone who was following me knows my ass end was all over the place.

Thanks Greg. Big ups to MACA for showing up for this one. Yeah, it was extremely difficult to navigate with the map in one hand, navigation in the other... all while trying to drive straight and pay attention to where I was going. We ended all the way back on Old Frederick Rd and then made a U turn and came back to Orndorff. I think we should just start in the mountains... it was pretty cool once we got up there.

Next year, I'm putting on a cruise to Philly... that way we can get some nice seat time, if you know what I mean.

The next tire I'm going with are the R888's. Made for road courses but people use them as DR's. Thats what will be on the back end when she comes back out next year... Naturally Aspirated of course ;-)

Shout out to Travis for knowing and leading the way up to the falls. You made the last leg of the cruise exciting.
