if that son of a botch was in my back yard i would killed that ****er too! if he's that close he's not scared of people, and will eat one, but it's not a 28ft gator.... and you know what it can still be an amazing creature as a "28ft" wrap around couch or i sure bet someone could make you a glass counter top and have it inside....thats what i would do.

Meh.........I saw a special with a alligator specialist (guy in his 70's been tracking the worlds largest gators) and he says the largest ever was 25ft and he didnt see it it was back in the 70's since then he has scoured the globe and only come up with 20,21,22 ft'ers

On one of the beast hunter shows they think they found the largest Croc in the states which was 16ft and in Florida I believe.

Crocs get bigger than Gators don't they?

this is an thing. i remember getting an e-mail on this last year to be honest. I agree in why killing it. but from I heard and read on countless websites about it. was they killed the gator because it was coming close to residusal homes... still doesnt mean why they cant tranq it big time then carry it back out in the wild.. but oh well. still one big damn gator lol

We had the Lake Placid gator movies. Now we need a sequel entitled, 'Lake Wiess - Land of the Beast'. LOL! Man, that is one huge gator!

If that's a 28 foot gator then that deer is 12 feet tall and weighs 600 pounds....

They normally only kill gators when they have lost all fear of humans by someone feeding them.

And the only manly way to kill them is with a Bang stick. At least a 357 caliber. 12 gauge works best
