and a ZX2 got torn up last night... after heading to the mall for a quick stint my roommate and I roll out towards 12 mile with Corey and Anna in the little Ford closely behind. We turn onto 12 mile and do a quick Michy-left and end up stopping at the stop light of 12 mile and Novi road... he rolls up and starts talking some smack about that monster dual overhead cam he's running and I throw out the jab about all the excess room I have in the back with my 2 extra doors on my whip! I look up and see the cross traffic light turn yellow and say "let's do this"... Jason buckles up and prepares for the fury that is about be unleashed...
The light turns green and I ease into the throttle... gotta keep the tires safe from tearing tarmac on the wet plane... the rain had rendered power launches useless. I run the car hard through first up to the rev limiter and grab second... the Ford is right next to me through first... but as I power into second the hurt begins... my little four door starts to walk on that 2 door bandit! As I edge up on the rev-limiter again I throw it into third... already creeping up past 60mph I look over and see the ZX2 no where in sight... that's right, the mighty Civic had laid waste to that American econo-trash-talking bucket... long live the ricer!! Just to rub the victory in their humiliated face I throw on the international import sign of winning - - the hazards... I couldn't see the look of shame on Corey's face... but I knew there would be no sweet loving from his lady friend that night... winning's winning... as I settled back down to a nice cruising speed the ZX2 roles up and yells out some excuse to losing his a55 to my sweet ride... something about lack of traction and spinning tires on wet pavement... whatever! I won... can't take the pressure, get off the road I say! hahaha...
now, to take on the Wals9331's Lincoln... a mighty foe indeed... hahaha...
