I agree it's slow for 750 hp, especially under favorable track conditions. Though I wonder if they really had all 750 horses on tap. Don't they have to run multiple mufflers to stay under the decibel limit there?
The ACR didn't. I can't imagine the Corvette running louder than the ACR did.
I do not believe the manufacturers would waste money on a hero lap run, and not squeeze out the maximum power out of their car.

I think the ACR gets a pass because it sounds like a tractor, leopard 2 tank...the Germans are very accustomed to those sounds.
