Not this uber cool pod needs it, but wanted to post my vouch for it. Seeing it in person I can tell ya it's as quality a piece as can find. And the position seems great to me. When look out as if down the track or road, it's a micro glance to the right to clearly see the gauges perfectly. In fact if you wired a 2 step LED shift light in it, you could never look down at your dash again. I mean it's almost like a a HUD concept, where you can keep your head up and in position for driving views with only a small eye movement to catch the info. And you'll not meet a nicer guy ... I mean how many guy do you know would grab a plunger and go at it to prime a follow stangers HE water pump.

Very nice setup.
What's the cost and turn around time on one of these pods. I'm interested but wouldn't want to send a core. I just finally after staring at my intercepter gauges for 5 months just installed them last night with an SOS pod. I like it but it does block out part of my windshield.

WWWWWWALL-EEE.

Or to date back a little farther. Number Johnny 5. (short circuit)

Sorry first thing I thought seeing the picture. Little, unique, different.

My personal taste if gauges are in the car they HAVE to be needed and be easy to read without scanning around with major eye/head movement. It would appear to be adding a 3rd place to look. Is ok when trying to monitor things quickly? Is it bothersome at night driving?

I personally like glancing the rearview direction, rather than the pillar direction. It is great night driving. the screens on the guages are just the right level of brightness. What I really love is if you set the red lights at the top as a shift light, they are in the perfect peripheral viewing area to alert you to shift without ever taking your eyes off of the road. Monitoring is just as convieniant as guages mounted anywhere else that I have had them.
