I've seen a black ZL1 in my area for some time now. Owner has tinted window, and at least an exhaust. I've seen him with his windows down, looks like a tool bag. Overly tan orange faced man who holds the wheel like Vin.

Saw him trucking down our local parkway today and caught up to him. At first, he wouldn't even exchange a glance. Then, we hit a light and he rolls down his window. Without looking at me he says "5.0?" I say "Yeah...". He nods his head and looks forward. We have a giant open stretch and the light turns green. He doesnt go. I keep pace with him until 40, where I'm in 2nd and I can tell he is too.

He gets a 3 car jump, and by about 90 I RUN past him. 125 and I'm two bus lengths ahead. What a LOL fest.

Have you heard of GT500 Slayer? His ZL1 is unbeatable in the St Louis area. He's a legend in his own mind

Small thread in SD about it..100+ pages(?).

Nice win....thought only people from New Jersey had the fake orange tan? I guess you learn something new everyday?

Lol yes I followed that guy and would've loved to destroy that ******. Not however a huge fan of the excuses and BS that comes along with it though.

And lol, upstate NY actually has quite the Guido population. They are multiplying at alarming rates. The other day at the gym I was sandwiched between two near the free weights. I did notice their hair actually adds around 6 inches to their height.

If you knew the truth about him, you wouldn't be impressed. Anyone can afford an $80k car by virtue of debt and living in a dumpster out in the middle of nowhere. All so he can talk shit to a bunch of kids on the internet who are half as old as he is.

You're making 710 hp and you only beat him by that much? He must have been modded.

i wonder what page in the owners manual covers excuses when you loose a race?

ZL1 owners manual said:
pg. 87

Unfair loss:

Don't worry, your ZL1 IS the fastest car ever produced. There will
however be a select few individuals willing to promulgate an unfair
race, thus putting your ZL1 at a distinct disadvantage against
their inferior automobile. This sub-set of the automotive culture
continues to deny your ZL1's dominance of the street, they should not
be trusted.

Racing situations the new ZL1 owner should avoid include but are
not limited to:

1. drag race from a dig
2. drag race from a roll, any speed
3. any race against a Mustang 5.0
4. races against Mustang Cobra & Shelby models
5. street racing in general

Should the new ZL1 owner find themselves placed in one of these
unfair races there are a few rules to follow as well as some reasons
why you will not be victorious.

Unfair race strategy to gain the upper hand and still win:

1. If at any time the ZL1 owner should find themselves
ahead of the competition IMMEDIATELY let out of the throttle
and claim victory!
You were in the lead = win.
2. In a roll race rev early, start from just behind you opponent,
honk short and get into full throttle before third honk. This should
provide sufficient momentum to push the nose of your ZL1 ahead
of the other car. IMMEDIATELY apply rule number 1.
3. From a dig you will want to jump as early as you can, even if it
means leaving early. IMMEDIATELY apply rule number 1.

Should you loose an unfair race:

1. The other driver is obviously a liar and has more modifications to
his car then he is letting on.
2. You were winning and let out, he did not "come around you".
3. Your supercharger may be too small.
4. Your supercharger is obviously heat soaked.
5. The NO2 system isn't working properly.
6. Your NO2 bottle is empty.
7. Your ZL1 has street tires not intended for racing.

At no time should you admit defeat, this will bring shame upon the
entire ZL1 community. Your ZL1 did not loose a race, there is
nothing to admit. The other drivers claiming victory are obvious
liars and scam artists attempting to run the ZL1 name into the ground.
Hold your head high, you own a ZL1, the best GM product
ever produced.
