Best friend is having the motor slightly bored over in his 96, he is also getting forged internals and a 15lb pulley. He still has another 1,400 dollars left over that he wants to put in the car....he can't decide what to buy.........99/01 heads/intake swap, or stage 3 comp cams........which mod will you notice the most difference?

cams can offer another 40 hps.dont know about the head swap.

yeah i would go cams
I have a feeling the head swap and little pieces would fall above 1400

Port the heads & intake at home & get the FR500 cam kit,$1500 . Includes everything to re-do the heads,better valves,springs,cams....pulls solidly to 7K. Probably a 100 hp or so improvement with that much boost.

Yes. I've been looking at it also. Has decent cams & like I said, everything to re-do the heads.
