Okay so I am considering doing a 6lb lower, with just the lower pulley for now. From what I've seen this should put me at around 13.7# of boost.
Questions:
1. What is the feeling on doing a lower only swap?
2. I was thinking of getting the Reichard manual tensioner, so that I can get the belt just right.
3. Will I need to buy a different belt?
4. How much boost can you run on a stock blower before you start seeing an issue with IAT2's and heatsoak?
5. Have any of you ever run just a lower with a stock upper? Or say a 3.4 upper?
My goal is to do it right to where I don't buy a bunch of unneeded parts, I figure that with a twinscrew I will probably still want the lower, so I'm not hurting myself.
Are there any other pulleys I should replace other than the Alternator?
