Xcal II reflash to new vehicle question.....

Hi,
I did a search for 'reflash xcal II' and couldn't find anything relating to my question, so....

I have an 03 GT but I figured this forum would get the most traffic for my question...

Anyways, I have an XCAL II that I just bought from a friend who had it on her Mach 1, but she didn't de-tune to stock before she sold the Mach, so her program crap is still on there and I can't use it for my vehicle. The Mach isn't available to detune to stock.

so is there anyway I can reset the Xcal 2 without her Mach 1 so I can use it on mine, or should I just return the tuner to her. I'd rather not return it because I got it cheaper than a new one, and I like to save money =)

Don't know, but you might be able to get an answer from the SCT techs on the forum at SCT Flash

well i think it sounds like it's married to her car. you might have to give it back to her, or maybe send it to someone to erase the memory, but that'll cost you too.

I would send it back to her for your to get the program out of her Mach1.
...It won't work otherwise, unless a tuner can reset it somehow.
SCT would know what to do though.
