Anyone using XBL on a Dish Network Internet service?

If you're talking about their DSL product, it should be fine. If you're talking about their satellite internet provided by wildblue, it is not good for gaming. There is way too much latency to play most anything over a satellite connection.

Looks like the fastest thing Dish Network offers in my area is DSL is 3mbps on the downstream. That blows for gaming.

Dish Network DSL= Verizon.

We have the bundle through Verizon. Check to see if 3mb is actually available for you because we were told it was when it actually wasn't.

I have the VZ DSL 3mbps plan and my downloads are actually around 2mbps, i'm at the furthest the DSL loop can go. Generally my XBL works fine. It won't work thru the satellite based though. As said above, too much latency.

Good luck!
