So, after trying to muscle the last nut on the passenger exhaust mani, wound up stripping the stud.

Is my only option to remove the mani and heat it and get it out? What am I left with?

All this for a damn x pipe install..............

I stripped it, pulling the stock h out. I dont even have the new one in. If I could source some headers locally, I would go for it. Maybe till I get new headers I can just torque the damn nut back on the stud with an impact?

i wouldn't try it. as long as you have that one off pull the rest of the nuts off drop the stock h and use vise grips to remove the old stud.

It would be a pain but you could just replace the stud. I had the same problem but luckily on the driver side. Used the double nut method to back it out. Then again I couldnt find two different sized nuts so i had to put them both on and then use a wrench and quarter turn at a time back it out. If you could find nuts different sizes, you could use a socket, 18" extension and u-joint.
