So whats different about the gen 3? Will fit eaton swapped mach 1? Hell, my car is basically exactly the same as an 03/04 cobra anyway. Is this really needed for a ported eaton car with bigger heat exchanger and intercooler setup?

its not that its needed, its designed to lower IAT's.
