I got my car back from my local Ford auto body shop today to find out my brakes are ****ed up and my clutch isn't engauging in right spot. When I touch the brakes, I can push it down about 1/2'' and then I need to stand on the frigin thing to get t he car to stop. The clutch starts engauging when it's a little more than 1/2 way released.

When I dropped the car off it had 3320.0 miles. When I picked it up it had 3321.5 miles. God only knows what happened for those 1.5 miles.

I went to their service shop and they told me to come back Monday morning to setup the service.

That is so F*^$ed up. I can't believe they told you to come back Monday. What happens if you crash over the weekend due to these break issues? I think a phonecall to someone higher up is what you should do. Be careful.

Mark,

Some bitch rearended me 2 weeks ago. I brought the car to the autobody shop to have the bumper repaired. The insurance originally wrote to repaint the bumper, but the shop convinced them to replace the whole thing. They did a nice job painting and installing it, but I guess it really doesn't matter now because I brought it in with 1 problem and it came out with 2 problems.

That sucks! How about asking them: "Why the **** does my car have any more miles on it than when I dropped it off?" You mean to tell me that they needed to test drive it to verify what.....that the bumper skin was going to stay put under high speeds and rapid decelerations?

but when you cuss make shure some other customers are around oh yeah complain to them to infront of a coustomer...do this because thell have to fix it in order to keep that coustomer

I'm really sorry to hear that your having issues with this car. I hoped I wouldn't have any problems with mine either but I've already logged 3wks in the shop. Mine seems near perfect now and hopefully your will be soon as well. Good luck.
