Hello, I'm in the market for a 2001 Cobra. Since my 97 GT had to go because of rust, I'm looking for something that has never seen salt. Also, I'm preferably looking for anything but black or silver, but I may change my mind if the deal is good.

I'm looking for something under 100k miles and less than $15,000.

I'm still undecided between coupes/verts, so post what you got or email me at [email protected]

Thanks!

By the way, I'm open for road trips, so don't let my location hold you back

I don't mean to be picky, but I've thought about it for a while and I'm specifically looking for a 2001. I know the 99/01 are almost twins with minor differences, but I want an 2001 for the interior.

Sorry bout that, even though your car looks like a great buy!

Anybody have an 01 for sale for around the $15,000 mark?

I'm not trying to be one of those stingy SOB's that follow the book value to the letter, but the value for an excellent condition 01 cobra with average miles (66,000) is only a little over $14,000... and VERY few cars for sale are actually excellent condition. An average mile cobra in good condition is only worth $13,400.

I know a low-mile cobra is probably out of my $15,000 price range, so I'm looking for something between 50k and 100k miles.

Anything out there?

Thanks!

Notes: Most of you who know me, know that I babied the car & I use it mostly as my daily driver. I have raced it, but honestly it's only been to the track less than 5 times with less than 20 runs on the strip. Like I said, those of you who know me know this to be true as I can't drive worth shit.

The car runs great. Lots of power. I have had no accidents with the car that involved another car. I did have an accident with a stupid deer which messed up my front bumper & hood. The front bumper has been replaced, but I didn't replace the hood. The body shop just patched it up & painted. In hindsight, I should have sucked it up & bought a new hood & had it done right, but I was short on cash then. A new hood from Cervini's is $459.00. The only other thing wrong with the car is a cracked fog light glass due to a small rock. It is easily replaced. I would, but since I'm selling it, I'll just take off $60 & let the new buyer take car of it.

Serious Inquiries Only Please.
