Nice video. That STi has a ton of money into it that's for sure but it is quick as hell. Pulled hard on that Vette even after launch.

Nice race. Corvette should've been on a 150-175 shot. Those Subaru's are hideous
What shot was the vette running? Must have been an LS2.

That Subaru was probably making 500-600whp. The STi (3300lb stock) also isn't much heavier than a C6 Vette. Maybe right there depending what parts they remove/change out.
Fast WRX, the Vette was an automatic had no chance.
Auto in the C6 = FTL
You can hear his gearing cost him the race (literally) at the end.
BTW, you can tell it's an LS3 by the color. Jet stream Blue didn't replace Lemans Blue until 2008. There are no JSB LS2 C6's

im sure that auto transmission on LS3 C6 is much better platform for drag racing than a very short gear ratio STi transmission
on 4th gear the STi is 114mph @ 7200rpm on factory tire height
you have to shift into 5th gear with that power level to finish a 1/4mile race
Seems to me thatSTi would of still pulled hard on the vette even from a roll????
