Are written warnings registered state wide or just in the town they were issued? I was heading home at around 2am and when I came to a light I stopped and as soon as the light changed I floored it going up to around 85 until the next light and then I would repeat it again. I had my Escort 9500ci on and it was quiet the entire night . Anyway, after about my 3rd light I saw a car behind me but couldn't get a clear ID if it was a cop or not since it was so dark so I thought it wasn't a cop due to no radar warnings. So i did my speed up as soon as the light changed the cop never caught up to me until I was at the next light. I suspected he was a cop at this point so I got a clearer look and sure enough it was. This time I didn't speed up and pulled me over. He asked if I knew why he pulled me over and I said nope, he told me he was watching me speed up to 85 after every light , I gave him my info and one of my many PBA cards (i have a friend that supplies me with them). He came back with a written warning and said it would be in the database for a year. He said he paced me as I know he didn't use radar but whatever I wasn't going to argue with him I was grateful for the break. So is this database limited to his town or can any cop in the state see it if I get stopped again? I don't think I would get another break again after them seeing I was let off with a warning for doing 85 in a 55.
