Wounded Warrior Project WTF?

I just got off the phone with a representative from the Wounded Warrior Project. As some of you know I am a Veteran and have lost too many friends (12) and one family member during combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am building a drag/show car and wanted to try to raise awareness/money for this cause because it is near and dear to my heart. I have someone that is willing to donate his time to airbrush their logo on my hood and I wanted to sell T-shirts and pass out information and try to get donations for them. I called them and they said that for legal reasons they could not allow me to use their logo! WTF are you kidding me? So I'm willing to donate my time and raise awareness and get you donations for free and you tell me no...**** them

It was nice of them to offer but they cant just let you use their logo. Something about copyright protection mumbo jumbo.

I understand that but I wanted to join the organization as a volunteer and they said no:shrug:

Do you think they're lying? They say there are legal issues with it. Deal with it, and move on.

I understand that but they still have to protect their "brand" as the lawyers see fit.
