still having the white smoke issue..i have oil pressure and only slight intercooler missing...when i got a retune i only made 313 hp..where i made 400 before...so theres a big power drop and when it got dynoed a ton of white smoke billowed out..now ive herd opinions from head gasket to intercooler to wategate to bad oil? i could use as many opinions as possible please thnx..

White smoke = big problems. Sounds like a blown head gasket. I can not believe that your tunner did not stop when this happened.

Any oil coming out the tail pipes? Is there oil on the spark plugs?

Time for a new long block. Ford had them with a 3 yr. warranty for about $4,000.

Like Chris said, if someone even mentioned a waste-gate when talking about a Lightning, punch them in the neck.

Also, if you knew there was an issue with the intercooler (i'm assuming you mean the pump) then why didn't you fix it?

Also, if you're experiencing that much white smoke, you need to rebuild that engine.

well the smoke has no sweet smell to it...ans i was on the phone with jdm today and they seen to think all i need is a high flow breather cap

Take it to some one who can do a compression test on it for you. Thats a start.
