Its time again for the Saturday off from work all day detailing day.

My routine is just like a lot of others here.

Dawn
Claybar
Poorboys Pro. Polish
Poorboys Ex-P
Poorboys Natty Blue/Regular Natty Wax (i have both)
Clearkote QD

Now my question is would I benefit in protection and looks of the car if I did more then one coat of either the polish, ex-p, or the Nattys? Or would it just be a waste of time?

Im no pro, but I would assume you would benefit some protection in putting more than one layer of wax on a car.

I do see a benefit from the EX-P in the protection side. But in the appearance you can go with the Natty's X2. I would just do the EX-P X2. Let it cure for 12-14 hours & then apply the second coat of EX-P.

Well unfortunately I wont have the time to let it cure that long. Roughly 3-4 is probablly the most I could do.

EXP looks exceptional on silver.

Due to the time constraint though, I'd probably just double up on the Natty's and call it a day.

Yah, I'm guessing thats what I will do.

Not much if any gains from two coats of the polish huh?

the only time I use two coats of polish is when i use a cutting pad & then a white polish pad.

BTW: since you barely have time for your car why not buy Optimum Spray wax for a Quick wax. ;-)
