I just signed the paperwork on a 2003 DSG Coupe... one of 9 left in all of California! And, I got a sweet deal on it... all told, 28,965 + ttl - that's sticker (35,065) - 3600 dealer cash - 2500 ford rebate (goes towards down payment.)

I pick it up on Tuesday - it had a very small scratch on the rear bumper, the boost gauge wasn't moving (although the S/C worked fine) and the knob on the shifter wasn't lined up properly, but all very small inconveniences compared to the fact that I HAVE A COBRA AGAIN.!!!

FYI, got it from Power Ford in Tustin - they have 2 more at that price, a silver and a black, but I'm sure they'll be gone by the end of the weekend!

welcome back Andorion glad you were able to find a new DSG coupe. If your accident happened a few months later you would have been screwed.

03cobrablack, if it'd happened a few months later I'd probably have a 10th Anni black coupe now =P

They said my car was totaled and settled for $35,400 after I bitched at them a couple times for the lower numbers they gave me.

I got mine from Joe MacPherson Ford (now Power Ford Tustin) so that one no longer has it. Downey Ford said they'd take 33,700 for it, but I think that's way too high. At Colley Ford Auto Center, their DSG cobra STALLED on me while I was test driving it, wouldn't rev over 3000 rpm, and after it stalled (not my fault, while coasting) it would *not* turn over. After all this BS, they still had the balls to ask for 35,000 before Ford rebate. I told them to **** *** **** ****** **** etc. Chino Hills Ford seemed reasonable, I asked for 32,000 and they were seriously considering it.

Good luck!
