wont go into gear question.......

I have Spec 2 clutch w/ new flywheel. I also have Steeda adj Quadrant and cable. Been in car for about 5k miles. Its been fine from day one. Went to track thursday night and made 5 passes. Car has sat since then. I get in it today and it wont go into gear. I messed around w/ adjuster at firewall w/ no avail. Engine is running all the while. At one point im trying to get it in gear and it pops in. I drove her around and had no problems. I let her sit for a lil while go to get back in her same thing wont go into gear. Any ideas????

Shooting in the dark here... synchro's?? Any accomplished tranny techs out there?

only when engine and trans are cold is it doing this. Once i finally get it into gear Everythings fine. Shifts like butter. CLutch isnt disengaging all the way when cold.

Mine has been doing just the opposite. I can't get it into gear when hot. Wierd! Good luck.
