Well I'm a little worried I might be overdoing it with the cooling with that dual pass HE right now. What really has me worried, thought, what kind of cosmetic damage the winter might do to it as well.

Anyone here run theirs throughout the entire winter (IN THE SNOW I MEAN not all winter in Florida)? If so did it hold up well?

Just asking...

overdoing it? nope, myself i see no need for the two pass unit since its a flow restriction.

as for the winter versus the thing..well outside of you driving it thru snow banks itll be fine outside of any possible corrosion from salted roads. but to be honest i think youll be fine

I've had an AFCO HE for about 6 years on my 01L, and although it's not my DD and I don't drive it in the snow, I drive it about every week or so to keep the fluids moving and battery charged up - and it gets pretty cold here in the winter - and I've never had or expected any problems with my AFCO HE.
