Do you guys happen to know when the refineries switch over to a non-winter blend of gasoline?

I believe around April or May. Still awhile to go unfortunately.

There is no specific time set in stone and it varies by location and refinery..
We usually switch around mid April here, but varies by a few weeks at the 3 refineries and by how much gas they have left.

That is correct.
Here in Southern California it was determined by the AQMD (air quality management district). As our air got cleaner and cleaner the winter blend period got longer for no known reason. Then the "you are poisoning us" lawsuits stopped the usage of MTBE and switched to ethanol. Now it's nearly the same mix year round.
