I have had work done by Safelite, & the results were excellent. It helps that my Ins. recommended them & the shop is around the corner from my house..

I've used safelite for years for chip repairs and replacement. Always good results. Last few times I have scheduled chip repair remotely so they came to my location when I specified. If I was replacing, I would go to the shop and request they have a couple techs handle the install. I requested Ford glass and they always complied.
On the flip side, I've used others for replacement and had bad results with scratched paint when the windshield was cut out and later turned into BAD rust holes behind the weatherstrip. They just covered it up and installed a new window instead of properly painting the scratched metal.
