My daughter recently moved to Orlando. Looking for a good shop to tint her car windows.
Also, any legal restrictions on the tinting?

do a search for tint land or tint world. They are reasonably priced and do a good job.
Legal limits in FL are 30% up front

I always knew them by "Orlando Tint" but I guess they are also called Ultimate. They've done several cars for me and do an awesome job. IIRC, they do all the tinting for the Ferrari and Maserati dealership locally.

If she's on the east side of town, you can use Bulldog in Oviedo. My uncle has used them for all his cars and they did a great job too.

Legal is 30% on the front and 15% on the back.

There's a guy in Winter Garden, right next to the Bravo supermarket. on Dillard St.

He runs a small one man operation, but he did a good job at a good price on my wife's car just before we left Florida last year.

I was about to have him tint my cobra, but didn't have time before we left town. :(

SOS Window Films in Palm Harbor did mine. Guy named Seth, honest, good work. As far as legal goes, in Florida tint is pretty much a non issue. There is alot of slack due to it being Fl and the sun/heat.

Ive ran limo tint personally for the entire 18 years I've lived here and not once have I had anything said about it, even when I was younger and had gotten pulled over quite a bit.

Tint restrictions are insane in NJ mostly because of NJ State Police opposition to any tinting at all on front side windows. Their arguement being that their officers not only need to see the occupants but also must be able to see his partner on the other side of the vehicle at all times. So I figured I might be able to get away with only 45% tint. 14 months without an issue then stopped twice in one week for no other reason than the tinting. Cost me $79 each time as I recall. Had to remove it to pass bi-annual NJ inspection. Just gave up after that.
I've seen State Troopers set up just outside the exit from the local drag strip(Englishtown) and ticket all with tinted windows.
I agree, tinting in Florida is a no brainer.
Again thanks to all for your responses

LOL "if you can't fix it with a hammer...."
Or you need a bigger hammer!
