Window Tint Question?

I am thinking about tinting my daily driver, 2013 VW GTI, and I went to a shop today and this place uses "Johnson Window Films"? I have never heard of this brand, is it any good? I have been using "Lumar" tint for years with great success but my usual tint shop is "in between" on technicians so I'm thinking about giving this other shop a try. Also, this Johnson film has metal in the film, i've heard that tint film with metal can negatively affect cell phone/GPS/Internet reception? Is this BS? Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you

Go with your gut. Go to another window tint shop and get Lumar or 3M. I would not find out the hard way that the no namer tint is a bad choice.

llumar or 3m are the only 2 choices out there that will last....my first car i did a 49 dollar tint special and within 1 year it was fading in spots and eventually started bubbling....could have been the install; but ever since that all of my cars have had llumar or 3m and i have never had an issue...just my 2 cents
