window switch questions

i am trying to install an msd window switch. It does have pills and it seems like i have been getting a different answer from everyone I have spoken with. First question is do I need a tach adapter since it being cop? also where do I tap into for the rpm signal? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tap into the light green wire with a white stripe at the pcm or on the main harness in the engine bay with the white wire from the msd window switch. I will be installing mine this week and was told that's all I need to do to have the switch read rpms

alright let me know how that goes. Do u know if u need a tach adapter?

I run a tach adapter (Ford Motorsports) with mine. You can splice in to the crank trigger sensor on the bottom of the front cover. It's really easy to find once you're under there.

Or you can tap into the signal coming from the computer on the main harness.
