Obviously the Mustangs don't have this feature. Anyone know how to wire it in or a module that will add it?

My old 05 Mustang GT had it. Wish my 13 had this feature. I miss being able to open the windows with the remote.
There are some OBD plug-ins that work on other cars - no idea if they work on Mustangs.
I will look up OBDII modules. Thinking about trying to come up with a relay that will take cue from the unlock circuit.

Figured the Floridian would know why! Nice to vent the heat out of the car when you're walking up to it.
Remote start so you can let the AC get started, and windows down with the key FOB would be really nice for 100 degree summer days.
Exactly, on Texas I used this feature on my Infiniti every day. Roll the windows down while walking to the car. Makes a big difference.
