I know the shifters we use have 12mm-1.75 thread but the shifter I really like is stated only for 05-07 Mustang GT, OR the steeda TRI-AX shifter.

A different steeda Handle says it'll fit the 03/04 as well as the tri-ax shifter. So does this mean the tri-ax version of the billet knob I want (linked) will fit any 03/04 after market shifter? Perhaps the 05-07 tri-ax is different threading than 03-04, but the billet knob I want has a stock 05-07 gt version and a tri-ax version which leads me to believe the tri-ax version is 12mmx1.75
