will these tires fit?

thinking of installing 275 40 17 on front and 285 40 17 on rear. was wondering if would have any problems on stock 01 rim or car. thanx

275 is pretty much the max on the stock 8" rim. My tire guys bitched the entire time they put some on my stockers because it took forever. I wouldn't go 285.

Now 03/04s are 9" rims and will take up to a 315 nitto nicely.

I agree with Rocket. It also depends on the brand as some run larger or smaller than others, nittos run small.

I wouldn't run a 275 on an 8" rim on the front. You'll have too much "tracking" of the grooves/ruts in the road, not to mention sidewall flex in turns.

I plan to run 305/35/18 Nitto NT555R Drag Radials on a 18X9 wheel. Does anyone know if that will fit?

Yes. my 275 BFG DR's are the same size as my buddies 315 Nitto's. His are on 9 inch wheels are mine are on stockers
