have some 245/45/17 that I'm trying to use on 17x9 rims. Will these fit alright, especially since the rears are nittos and i heard they run narrow

thanks

well, i run bfg kdws 245/45/17 in the front on my 17x9. if you're going to run nitto's in the rear just go with the 275/40/17. a lot of 03/04 guys run a 315/35/17 on their stock 17x9 wheels, so definitely go a little wider with nittos.

The tires will be narrow but will fit. I prefer a 275 or larger on a 17x9

new question, anyone know somebody running rims that are 17x7. I found a set that i really like but they don't come any wider, what differences will i have, any negatives to running a thinner rim?

Well if you do end up getting those 17X7's, I have a set of truly excellent condition Dunlop SP Sport 9000's in 245 width that I'd sell for cheap. PM me if interested.
