Ordered some 11.5x27x15 to go with my pro stars for the cobra. With 4.10 in the rear and full bushing swap and diff support brace. I'm a bit worried about half shafts, but the car isn't all that powerful. Just all bolt ons and a tune. I've heard that the T-45 isn't really the strongest gearbox in the world but I'm not going to abuse it with power shiftings.

I wan't to be able to drive home afterwards, so do you think it will hold up?

tough guess- your half shafts and your stock clutch are the weak links. i would upgrade the shafts next though.

I would say the t-45 is a weaker link IMO. The irs will hold up decently without wheelhop, which your mods along with the slicks should prevent. I had many launches in the 1.5's with a completely stock irs on MT ET streets and alot in the 1.6 range on drag radials. It was still holding strong when I got rid of it.
