Heres the Idea "Snakes on a Plane". Pretty simple and thats about it.

SLJ saw the script with the working title of "Snakes on a plane" . He signed on because of that only. When they went to change the title to "Flight 121" or whatever BS Hollywood title he said no way. I signed on to SOAP. Either they keep SOAP as the title or he walks. The rest became history and lots of Internet banter, websites, etc.

Funny movie.

Snakes on a plane was written by some guy in 1992, he pitched it everywhere until 1999 and no one bit. In 1999 some guy from MTV saw it and started working on it. A blogger named Josh Friedman started blogging about it, people caught on to the rediculous idea, somewhat like a "Scary Movie" but not that blatenly rediculous. Then Samuel L Jackson signed on, with his cocky attitude and in interviews people talked about how the name was going to be changed and SLJ replied with, "We're changing it back, thats why I signed on."

Two blogs made huge internet buzz about the movie and its so over the top that everyone wants to see it. It debuted at number two, what else can i say?

He did the movie as a joke. The movie is a parody of itself. If you go into it with a serious attitude you won't like the movie. Go into it drunk looking for a laugh and you will love it. I've said it once and I'll say it again "I'm getting tired of all these mother****in snakes on this mother****in plane!!"

Maybe they are trying to play on people's fear of flying and fear of snakes all at the same time, because up in the air you won't be able to escape either.

Probably be a sequel called 'spiders on a plane' with Chris Tucker or Ashton Kutcher.

Sam Jackson must really need some cash bad.

I highly doubt it consdering he is one of the highest paid actors out there.

Get over it people... he did the movie as a friggin joke. He saw the title "snakes on a plane" and knew he had to do it.

I would have to be payed to see some shit like this. SLJ has been doing shit movie and/or shitty roles for a few years now. Pulp Fiction redeems him.

You should see the next movie he's in. He plays an old black man in the south trying to detox a to' up white girl (Christina Ricci). Looks funny as hell.

For the record I saw SOAP last Thursday for the sneak preview, everyone was drunk and we all were laughing the entire time. Worth checking out if you as me.

The premise behind this movie is to see how many suckers they can get to shell out 20 bucks a person to go see a piece of trash movie with a stupid unbelievable plot with a bunch of noname actors and one or two with a bit of a rep and written by a phuctard that can't write anything anybetter than this paragraph I have just struggled to phuc up

It was an entertaining movie. Definitely worth seeing at the theatre. Like other posters said, it's a kind of comedic horror flick. It's pretty graphic and the acting fits the premise.

No one can curse and sound good at it better than Muthafkin' Samuel L. Jackson.
