Looking for thoughts and opinions on whether Nitto 315x17's on 10" rims will fit on the rear of my '99 Cobra. Specifically, are there fitment problems because of the IRS?

I also have BBK Progressive springs installed and they lowered the car about 2 inches. Any comments or experiences would be welcomed. At present I have 285x17 KDWS' on the back rims and 255x17's on the front.:??:

I have heard that 315 will fit on the Corba, but I have only heard of one rim that will work. It's the Corba R wheels from AFS. I believe they're 17x10.5 from AFS w/27mm offset, you can find them on ebay all the time.

Good Luck!

P.S. You might need a hammer to make them fit :D

Will a 305/45/ 18 nitto drag radial fit on the back on a 00 R 18x9.5 rim? I ordered the wheels yesterday and want to order the tires today. Thanks.

That will be a stretch. typically 285/295 is about max with 18 inch wheels, but it really depends on each setup. If your just running them at the strip, I'm sure you can mod the wheel wells to make the fit or buy a spacer.
