Will 2010 GT500 struts/shocks work on 2008?

Are they any better? I found some good low mileage used ones for cheap, wondering if they'll fit and if they are any better than the 2008's. Thanks

Yes, they'll fit. I'd say it's equivalent to what you've got. Low miles may be of some benefit if you have a lot of miles on yours.

Yes 05-10 is interchangeable. I think 05-14 for shocks but struts 05-10.

Thanks! If I were to build another strut assembly to swap out as one piece with mine already mounted on the car what other parts would I need? I have new springs,strut mounts and bumpers. I'm thinking I'd only need the boots and nuts. What size is the nut and is it a lock nut? Is there another isolator needed? Thanks

The 2010 GT500 will fit. They are closer to the KR suspension, and yes they are different from 07-09.

Struts for 07-2014 GT500s will interchange. The struts for Mustang GTs and V-6s changed in 2011, with a different strut mount and different strut, but the GT500 stayed with the same basic hardware.
