So my wife gets home last weekend and tells me that she and her friend were headed to the mall in the fastlane, and some punk kid tries to race her.
Given her handling of the stick/clutch/gas, I'm wondering what the details were (THANK GOD for the rev limiter).
She expounds:
"I was driving in the fast lane, when this guy tries to pass me in a honda civic, so I dropped it into 5th (wow!) and blew his doors off."!:coolman:
Me: "Probably not much of a race hun. Did his car sound fast (as if a civic can)?"
Her: "Not really"
Me: "How fast/far did you race?"
Her: "I slowed down after just a few seconds at around 110 (rush hour traffic)"
Me: "Where was he?"
Her: "I don't know - he never caught up. We blew him away."
Me: "How fast were you going in the fast lane (65 limit here)?"
Her: "I was busy talking and was only going about 60."
Enough said about her "Race" She's 10 for 10 now.
Not sure why she thinks everyone trying to pass her is racing, but her race stories are a blast
