Widest tire that can fit on a GT stock rim?

8" rim =275 but even that is getting useless...look at the tread wear...the outer edges dont touch the ground...id go 255s on a 8" for the best contact patch and 285 and 295 good luck man. 9"= 315nittos but any other its again waisted rubber....

couldnt you put some 275 nittos on the stock 8" rims?

yeah i believe you can, i got 275's on now....don't know if it's different with DR's.....or nitto tires in general.

u could get away with 275 nittos just fine but most 275s(nittos run small) get buldge and u can see where the tires arent contacting the ground

I use to use 275 nitto dr's on my stock 17x8 rims and they were fine. With 20 psi in them, all of the tire was touchin the ground except for about a 1/4" on each side. So a 275 nitto dr works!
