widening stockers

ok guys, i really love the stock look of my 99 Cobra so, i'm thinking of widening my rear wheels, i don't want to pay 300 bucks each so i'm doing it the Mexican way lol, i have a set of 94-95 wheels with curve damage so i'm gonna take them to the guy who welded my intake and ask him to do the job to see if he can make this happen, if it does, next would be my 99 stockers! if it doesn't it wont hurt 'cause i got those 94-95 wheels for free

i would like them 17x10.5, what should be the correct backspacing for them?? any ideas?? 6.5 like my Prostars?

i want to do the same with my stock rims. but didnt want to spend the money either lol. im sure you can make it happen, just a matter of paying for it i would think. but then again wheels are a different game than intakes...
